Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials accurately and promptly
- Pick and pack orders efficiently to meet dispatch deadlines
- Load and unload delivery vehicles with care and attention to prevent damage
- Maintain clean and organized warehouse spaces to ensure safety and efficiency
- Carry out regular stock checks and report discrepancies to management
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks following safety guidelines
- Assist in inventory control and record keeping using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets and deadlines
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role preferred but not essential
- Good physical stamina and the ability to handle manual lifting tasks
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills for stock and documentation purposes
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends or overtime if needed
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment
- Capability to operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts is a plus
