We are a privately owned Australian medical device distributor based in Chatswood. For more than 40 years we have supplied minimally invasive medical technology to hospitals, clinicians and individual patients across Australasia, often introducing devices and techniques that are new to the region.

The average tenure here is around nine years, and that is not an accident. It is what happens when people are treated as contributors, not resources. We are grateful for the work we get to do and we take it seriously, because what leaves our warehouse ends up impacting a patient's life.

Overview

The role combines physical work on the warehouse floor with careful, detailed work at a desk. You will move stock, maintain inventory accuracy, transact orders in our ERP system and ensure dispatches leave on time so that devices are ready when patients need them.

In medical distribution small errors have real consequences, so the environment demands precision, careful verification and intellectual honesty at every level. Every count, pick and entry is checked before the next person relies on it, and anyone who notices something wrong is expected to stop, touch nothing and say so. New colleagues are given time to learn the stock and the systems properly, because understanding comes before speed.

Key Responsibilities

• Count, verify and maintain stock levels with a high degree of accuracy
• Pick, pack and dispatch orders accurately and on time
• Transact orders and stock movements in our desktop-based ERP system and maintain real-time data accuracy
• Investigate stock variations through careful root-cause analysis and correct the cause rather than the symptom
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse, including stock rotation, shelf management and packing stock levels

What We Look For

• Attention to detail and a commitment to precision
• The honesty to say 'I'm not sure' or 'I got that wrong'
• Physical capability to be on your feet for much of the day, with regular walking and light lifting of stock
• Confidence using a desktop computer and learning new software; experience with an ERP or inventory system, or Microsoft Office, is helpful
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and to manage your own tasks independently
• Previous experience in a warehouse, stores or operations environment is highly regarded
• Full working rights in Australia

Compensation
