Our Café is the heartbeat of our store — fast-paced, vibrant, and built around exceptional coffee, fresh food, and genuine customer experience. We are now seeking a dynamic Café | Front of House (FOH) Department Manager to lead this space with energy and passion.
About The Role |
This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for overseeing all front-of-house operations within our Café. You will lead from the floor — setting the standard in service, pace, and presentation — while driving team performance and commercial outcomes.
You will be accountable for:
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing FOH team
- Creating a positive and customer focused culture
- Delivering exceptional customer experiences every shift
- Managing rosters, daily productivity and café operations
- Ensuring food safety, compliance, and operational standards are upheld
- Working collaboratively with kitchen and senior leadership teams
This role requires someone who thrives in a high-volume environment and understands how to balance service excellence with commercial performance.
Skills, Experience & Attributes |
- 3+ years' experience in café, hospitality, or retail food leadership
- Proven experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of coffee operations and FOH workflow
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused leadership style
- Availability for early mornings, weekends and peak trading periods
