Role Purpose

Responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, stock integrity, and operational reporting through effective stock control processes, data analysis, and customer support. The role focuses on maintaining alignment between customer ERP systems and warehouse management systems, investigating inventory discrepancies, and delivering actionable insights to improve operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Stock Control

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records across warehouse and customer systems.
• Review stock movements, adjustments, inbound and outbound transactions to ensure inventory integrity.
• Conduct stock reconciliation between ERP, WMS, and customer systems.
• Coordinate and orchestrate regular stock audits and cycle counts, ensuring accurate execution by on-site operations teams.
• Investigate inventory variances and implement corrective actions to improve stock accuracy.
• Support stock loss investigations by identifying root causes and recommending preventive measures.
• Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures and customer service requirements.

Data Accuracy & Reporting

• Review system-generated stock reports and reconciliation reports to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Ensure alignment between customer ERP systems and NewCold operational systems.
• Generate and maintain inventory performance reports, KPI dashboards, and operational scorecards.
• Validate data integrity and resolve reporting discrepancies.
• Develop and automate reporting solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Customer Service & Investigations

• Manage stock-related customer inquiries and provide timely resolutions.
• Conduct traceability investigations for inventory-related issues.
• Investigate customer claims involving shortages, incorrect deliveries, damaged stock, and inventory discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate communication and issue resolution.

Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with SAP, Oracle ERP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and inventory management platforms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Advanced), Power BI, and reporting automation tools.
