Field Service Technician

Our client is a leading name in the packaging machinery industry, supplying a diverse customer base with cutting edge solutions. We are seeking a Field Service Technician to join their operations based in Sydney’s west. This role represents an opportunity to broaden your horizons with full training provided to develop a set of technical skills which are well sought-after.

Reporting to the Service Manager, your duties will include:

• Installation and commissioning of new machinery on customer sites
• Planned service and maintenance activities
• Attending to breakdown situations as required
• Providing excellent customer service including end user training
• Completion of timely and accurate service reports

Our ideal candidate will possess:

• Trade/tertiary qualifications in a mechanical, electrical or electronic trade
• Previous Field Service experience in an industrial environment
• At a minimum, the ability to obtain a Restricted Electrical Licence. An A-Grade licence is a distinct advantage
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
• A manual driver licence
