Pre-Sales Lead

About the company : A well funded Series-A Enterprise AI startup - building AI/ML products for the BFSI/financial sector.

Seeking a Pre-Sales Lead for their ZERO code AI platform which offers End to End data Science Machine Learning (DSML) solutions. This is a key leadership role within their Sales and Solutions Delivery team.

Roles & responsibilities:

Solution Design & Strategy

• Architect end-to-end pre-sales AI/ML solutions tailored to client business challenges.
• Deliver high-impact product demos and lead Proof of Value (PoV) engagements to quantify business ROI.
• Partner with sales to qualify opportunities, craft value-driven proposals, and act as an AI/ML subject matter expert.

Leadership & Team Management

• Mentor and lead the Pre-Sales team while standardizing processes, templates, and RFP workflows.
• Collaborate across Sales, Product, and Delivery teams to ensure smooth post-sale project execution.
• Act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through the full ML lifecycle from model building to deployment.

Proposal & Bid Management

• Lead RFP responses and proposal creation, managing solution scope, timelines, pricing, and architecture.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams to guarantee timely, high-quality bid delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

Education & Experience

• Degree: Bachelor’s in CS, Engineering, or Data Science; Master’s or MBA is a plus.
• Pre-Sales Leadership: 5+ years in DS/ML with a proven track record leading Pre-Sales or Solution Engineering for complex enterprise AI sales cycles.

Domain & Technical Expertise

• FinTech Domain: Strong domain knowledge in credit risk, debt collection, and customer acquisition scorecards for financial services.
• Technical Depth: Deep understanding of data engineering, big data analytics, and end-to-end AI/ML platforms.
• Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and scale high-performing technical teams.
