Accountant III

Accountant | 11-Month Contract | €90,000+ Pro Rata

We’re looking for a qualified Accountant to join a high-profile global technology organisation on an 11-month contract, with potential for extension. You’ll play a key role in supporting EMEA payroll and benefit accounting, partnering with teams across the business and helping drive operational improvements.

What you’ll be doing:

• Own end-to-end payroll and benefit accounting across a portfolio of EMEA entities
• Review and approve payroll and ad-hoc journals
• Prepare/review balance sheet reconciliations and investigate reconciling items
• Code cash transactions and ensure cash balances align with liabilities
• Support month-end and quarter-end close, including flux analysis
• Partner with Payroll Operations and cross-functional teams to resolve issues
• Contribute to process improvements, AI initiatives and operational efficiency projects
• Maintain robust documentation and internal controls

What you’ll need:

• 3+ years’ progressive accounting experience
• Big Four training background plus 1–2 years’ post-qualified industry experience
• Strong end-to-end month-end and reconciliation experience
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and standard close processes
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and confidence handling large datasets
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

The details:

• 11-month contract with opportunity for extension
• €90,000 minimum annual salary, pro rata
• 2–3 days per week in the office
