What You'll Be Doing:

• Play key role in ensuring trial balances are complete and accurate


• Reconciliation of certain general ledger accounts such as stock and annual stock count results


• Prepare and post certain non-standard journal entries


• Responsible for uploading sales data


• Interaction with pharmacies/warehouse when Finance issues are noted


• Maintain the Spending Power pack document


• Maintain all Finance system notes/process documents


• Play active role in the monthly billing process


• Assist accountants with income statement and balance sheet reviews


• Support accountants with preparation of statutory financial statements and completion of the interim and

year-end audits

• Regular attendance at inter-departmental meetings to ensure that all Retail Pharmacy (RP) & Pharmaceutical

Distribution (PD) transactions are accounted for accurately

• Proactive engagement with the Share Service Team based in Vilnius, Lithuania


• Ensure assigned internal controls are completed in line with agreed processes


• Active participation in ad-hoc projects to support the wider PHX Ireland business

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• Part qualified or an equivalent third level qualification


• Minimum 3 years' experience working as an Assistant Accountant or equivalent in a fast paced Finance function


• SAP experience would be desirable


• Strong financial and analytical skills


• Ability to work in cross-functional team environments, as well as independently


• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively
