Interested in an opportunity to grow and learn inside of a long-standing family business?

Westvic Staffing Solutions, in partnership with Tim Boyle Panels, is offering am Automotive Spray Painting Apprenticeship based in Warrnambool.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to build a career in the automotive refinishing industry. You will gain practical, on-the-job experience while completing a nationally recognised trade qualification.

Working within a professional workshop environment, you will develop skills in preparing, painting, and finishing vehicle panels to industry standards while learning safe work practices and correct use of equipment.

What you’ll learn:

• Preparing vehicle parts and assemblies for painting
• Mixing paints and materials to specifications
• Matching colours using manufacturer colour charts
• Using spray guns and applying paint finishes
• Operating spray booths and paint drying equipment
• Cleaning and maintaining spray equipment and tools
• Monitoring equipment performance and making adjustments
• Working as part of a skilled workshop team
• Following safe work practices in a workshop environment

What we’re looking for:

• Genuine interest in spray painting or automotive refinishing
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Reliable and punctual attitude
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
• Driver’s licence preferred
