Software Developer – C# / Java | Trading Systems

A global proprietary trading firm is hiring a Software Developer to join its technology team in Sydney. You'll help build high-performance trading systems, work with large, fast-moving data sets to deliver real-time updates, and keep live data flowing reliably across the business — all underpinned by strong object-oriented design. You'll partner closely with traders and quantitative researchers to turn trading models and signals into production code, with particular focus on pricing and risk systems

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years’ professional software development experience in C# or Java
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with WPF or similar UI frameworks is a plus
• Exposure to Python or C++ is beneficial
• A solid understanding of financial markets is highly valued, candidates from pricing, risk, or electronic trading backgrounds are especially encouraged to apply
