Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Development Manager with strong expertise in .NET

Core, Angular, and Microsoft Azure, along with proven experience in healthcare product

development and HIPAA compliance. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical

leader capable of building secure, scalable, and compliant healthcare applications while

leading a team of engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of ~10 developers in a product-based environment

• Design and develop secure, scalable healthcare applications using .NET Core and

Angular

• Architect and implement cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure

• Ensure all applications adhere to HIPAA compliance and healthcare data security

standards

• Stay hands-on with coding, debugging, and complex technical problem-solving

• Drive product architecture, technical roadmap, and design decisions

• Collaborate with product managers, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders

• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards, security, and compliance

practices

• Implement secure data handling, encryption, and access control mechanisms

• Ensure timely delivery of product releases with high quality

• Identify risks and ensure mitigation strategies, especially around data security and

compliance

• Promote Agile methodologies and continuous improvement

Technical Skills Required

Full Stack Development

• Strong experience in .NET Core / ASP.NET Core

• Expertise in Angular (latest versions preferred)

• Proficiency in C#, REST APIs, Web Services

• Strong frontend skills: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript

Cloud & DevOps (Azure)

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including:

o Azure App Services

o Azure Functions

o Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

o Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines)

o Azure Storage, Key Vault, Service Bus

• Experience in building cloud-native, microservices-based architectures

• Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, and performance tuning in Azure

Database & Tools

• Strong experience with SQL Server and database design

• Experience with Entity Framework / ORM tools

• Version control using Git

• Familiarity with Docker / containerization

Healthcare & Compliance Requirements

• Experience in healthcare product development

• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and data privacy standards

• Experience implementing:

o Data encryption (at rest and in transit)

o Role-based access control (RBAC)

o Secure authentication (OAuth, JWT, etc.)

o Audit logs and compliance tracking

• Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR – good to have)

Leadership & Management Skills

• Proven experience managing a team of 8–10 developers

• Strong mentoring, coaching, and performance management skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management

• Ability to balance hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities

• Experience in Agile/Scrum product environments

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Computer Science / IT or related field)

• 12–13 years of experience in software development

• 3–5 years in a managerial or technical leadership role

Preferred Skills

• Experience in SaaS or healthcare product companies

• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect / Developer Associate)

• Exposure to event-driven architecture

• Knowledge of application security best practices and compliance frameworks
