Graphic Design Intern — Brand & Visual Communication
Vymo
Job Description
At Vymo, we build the intelligence layer for global financial enterprises. Complex AI products don't sell themselves on specs alone; they win through clear, strategic, and undeniable visual storytelling. We are looking for a Graphic Design Intern with high agency, strong creative taste, and high intent to learn.
You’ll work closely with our core design and marketing teams to shape how Vymo is perceived across web, global campaigns, and product storytelling. If you are a design student, recent graduate, or self-taught designer who loves building brands visually, this 6-month launchpad is for you.
What You’ll Work On
- Website & Visual Storytelling: Design landing sections, visual narratives, and product storytelling blocks that translate complex AI concepts into simple, clear visuals.
- Campaign & Social Creatives: Create high-quality assets for major product launches, campaigns, and social media—focusing on clarity over decoration.
- Marketing Assets: Design brochures, one-pagers, and pitch decks to help convert product thinking into compelling visual stories.
- Event & Brand Presence: Build cohesive visual assets for webinars, hackathons, and industry events to ensure consistency across every touchpoint.
- Design Systems for Marketing: Maintain Figma files, templates, and reusable components to bring structure and speed to brand execution.
- AI-First Workflows: Use cutting-edge AI tools to explore design directions, generate concepts, iterate faster, and help us rethink how modern design teams operate.
What We’re Looking For
- Design Fundamentals: Strong taste in typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy.
- Visual Storytelling: Ability to simplify complex, abstract ideas visually (this matters much more than knowing every tool shortcut).
- Tool Stack: Comfort and proficiency with Figma, along with working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.
- High Agency & Growth Mindset: Highly curious, proactive, open to feedback, and driven to learn and improve fast.
- AI Curiosity: Excited to experiment with modern AI tools to accelerate design exploration.
- Basic motion or video editing skills (After Effects / Premiere Pro).
- Interest in AI, SaaS, or B2B tech storytelling.
- Prior experience on real-world projects (freelance, college projects, or prior internships).
Portfolio Expectations (Mandatory)
When applying, share a portfolio link that demonstrates:
- Clean, well-structured layouts and strong visual hierarchy.
- Work that communicates ideas, not just surface-level aesthetics.
- Original thinking and craft.
We care far more about thinking, clarity, and visual craft than volume.
