We are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a growing additive manufacturing company. This position would suit an engineer who is looking to develop within the rapidly growing world of 3D printing and advanced manufacturing.

Working closely with another Field Engineer, you will receive hands‑on training and mentoring whilst developing your technical knowledge across installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and customer support activities.

This is predominantly an onsite‑based position at a key customer with the opportunity for occasional travel to other sites in the region. It offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to industrial equipment, customer‑facing engineering activities and additive manufacturing technologies.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the installation, commissioning and maintenance of 3D printing systems
  • Assist with troubleshooting and technical fault diagnosis
  • Support customers with technical queries and system operation
  • Work closely with senior engineers to develop technical expertise
  • Carry out preventative maintenance and service activities

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related discipline
  • Previous engineering experience gained through industry placement, graduate programme or an engineering role
  • Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Full driving licence

HIGHLY DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE

  • Exposure to 3D printing or additive manufacturing technologies
  • Experience working with industrial machinery or automated equipment
  • Customer‑facing engineering experience
  • Mechanical, electrical or electromechanical troubleshooting experience

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
