About the RoleTheBusiness Development Manageris responsible for driving growth by identifying, onboarding, and managing relationships with Finance Brokers and Credit Intermediaries. The role focuses on expanding the company’s distribution network, increasing loan origination volumes, and maintaining strong relationships with existing partners to ensure continued engagement and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- New Business Development Drive growth by identifying, engaging, and onboarding new Finance Brokers and Credit Intermediaries. Develop strategies to expand market reach and promote the company’s lending products to new partners.
- Relationship Management Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing brokers and intermediaries through regular support, communication, and training. Act as the main contact for partner feedback and issue resolution.
- Work with the Head of Credit and Business Development to achieve sales targets. Monitor performance metrics, analyse results, and report on business outcomes to identify areas for improvement.
- Product & Marketing Support Collaborate with internal teams to enhance product offerings, deliver marketing initiatives, and represent the company at industry events and conferences.
- Operational Collaboration Support alignment of sales operations with company goals, ensuring efficient lead management, compliance, and accurate data reporting across systems.
- Proven experience in business development, preferably in financial services or lending
- Strong understanding of broker/intermediary channels and credit products
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills
- Results-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify business opportunities
