Xelix

LondonFull-timeMid LevelOn-site

Job Description

About Us

At Xelix, we work with some of the world’s largest companies to automate and strengthen their financial controls. Our AI solutions redefine how Accounts Payable teams operate – moving from manual processes to automated, intelligent workflows. Xelix is a fast-paced scale‑up; our team of 150 talented people is expanding aggressively with a Series B round raised in June 2025.

Everyone is trusted to take ownership, move fast, and have a meaningful impact.

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Account Executive who wants to join our early sales team at a very fast‑growing startup. We value intelligent, thoughtful, and reflective salespeople who build trust and meaningful connections with prospects. The role could develop into a leadership position managing a team of AEs, or stay as an individual contributor role closing our largest deals.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Serve as a consultative trusted advisor with a focus on developing and closing new business opportunities with prospective Xelix customers.
  • Manage a portfolio of prospects at various stages of the sales cycle with leads developed by the Xelix partner network.
  • Conduct assessments to understand prospects’ pain points and develop roadmaps and business cases for their finance transformation using Xelix solutions.
  • Manage and forecast sales activity and opportunities by flawlessly executing the Xelix sales process and playbook.
  • Attend in‑person meetings on client sites, as well as industry events such as user groups, trade shows, and conferences to build and manage relationships with prospective and existing customers.

What You’ll Bring

  • 2+ years closing enterprise SaaS deals.
  • Expertise using MEDDICC or a similar sales methodology.
  • Experience managing long and complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to self‑source and generate pipeline.
  • Consecutive years of quota attainment at a technology company.
  • Experience selling into the CFO office.

Big Plus Points

  • Specific knowledge of the Accounts Payable space.
  • Multilingual.

Customer Segment Definitions

At Xelix, customer segments are defined by annual company revenue rather than employee count. Our classifications are:

  • Mid‑Market – Organisations with annual revenue up to £1 billion.
  • Small Enterprise – Organisations with annual revenue between £1 billion and £5 billion.
  • Large Enterprise / Strategic – Organisations with annual revenue £5 billion or more. These accounts are typically complex, involving multiple stakeholders, longer sales cycles, and global or multi‑entity operations.

What We Offer In Return

  • Competitive base salary starting at £70 k, with the potential to double earnings through OTE.
  • 27 days of annual leave (including 3 days Christmas closing); option to roll over 3 days.
  • Hybrid working: three days a week from our dog‑friendly Hoxton office and on‑site gym.
  • Comprehensive private medical and dental cover with Vitality.
  • Enhanced parental leave pay.
  • Learning and development culture – £1 000 personal annual budget.
  • Carbon‑neutral operations with ambitious reduction goals.
  • Regular team socials and activities.
  • Annual team retreat.

Employment Details

This is a full‑time position with standard working hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

EEO Statement

We believe that people from diverse backgrounds, with different identities and experiences make our company and product better. No matter your background, we'd love to hear from you! And if you have a disability, please let us know if there's any way we can make the interview process better for you – we're happy to accommodate!
