Senior Data Analyst, Master Data (m/f/d)

Overview

In this role you drive master data governance as a strategic asset across SAP modules, partnering with cross-functional teams to set standards and ensure adoption. You own the data strategy and roadmap, oversee quality monitoring, and lead harmonization of high-impact material data. You will work closely with Supply Chain, IT, and other functions to translate business intent into master data configurations and actions.

• Establish and operate master data governance across SAP MM, PP, FI, CO, SD with standards, policies, KPIs, and RACI
• Provide operational guidance on SAP master data field configuration and value ranges and challenge configurations on operational grounds
• Define and own BU master data strategy and multi-year roadmap including automation and process intelligence
• Oversee design and evolution of master data quality monitoring, dashboards, pipelines, and anomaly detection
• Lead harmonization and standardization of master data for high-impact material populations across plants and regions
• Drive nomination of Data Owners and facilitate cross-functional decisions when conflicts arise on master data rules
• Represent BU master data agenda externally to IT, corporate MDM, and peer BUs and influence enterprise decisions

• Master’s degree in a related field; certifications in data management or governance (CDMP, DAMA) are a plus
• 8+ years in master data management, data governance, or supply chain digital roles, preferably in chemicals/pharma/process industries
• Hands-on SAP master data expertise across MM, PP, FI, CO, SD with understanding of how configurations affect planning, costing, procurement, production, and sales
• Proven track record in establishing data governance frameworks and driving cross-functional decisions without formal authority
• Structured problem-solver capable of owning multi-year roadmaps and resolving daily data quality issues
