The Role
Genus Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Vehicle Loading Crane / HIAB Truck Driver to join our team based in Yass, NSW.
You will be largely responsible for moving transmission‑tower stringing hardware and equipment from the laydown yards to tower pads, supporting daily construction and installation activities across the HumeLink East project.
Key duties include

  • Delivering and collecting Transmission tower Stringing hardware/equipment/materials from laydown yards to tower pad sites
  • Assisting teams with setting up equipment on site, cable drums, conductors, running blocks, pilot ropes, tensioners, puller‑tensioners, drum stands, swivels, and stringing rollers
  • Performing routine and periodic maintenance on the truck and crane, and raising repair requests when needed
  • Supporting other operators as required, including operating additional equipment and helping train or guide junior operators

Essential Requirements / Skills / Qualifications

  • 2+ years' experience operating vehicle loading cranes / HIAB
  • HR/MC Driver License
  • High Risk Work Licenses (DG, RB, C2, LF)
  • Construction White Card
  • Willingness to pitch in and assist the wider team
  • Ability to work independently and guide others when required
