Job Description

Build the market. Shape the strategy. See the results of your work.

ENGINAR is recruiting on behalf of an international manufacturer and provider of engineered solutions for the construction and infrastructure sectors.

Our client operates globally, supporting complex construction projects with specialist technical products, engineering expertise and premium services. As part of its continued expansion in Central Europe, the company is looking for a Sales Manager – Poland

This is an opportunity to develop the company’s presence in Poland, build relationships with key market stakeholders and position specialist technical solutions within major infrastructure, energy and construction projects.

You will work remotely with a high degree of autonomy, while receiving support from the company’s European sales, technical and operational teams.

Your mission

Your goal will be to build a strong commercial foundation for the company’s long-term growth in Poland. You will identify strategic projects, map the organizations and decision-makers involved, develop relationships across the construction ecosystem and convert market intelligence and specification activities into a sustainable sales pipeline.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • identifying and prioritizing major infrastructure, energy and construction projects planned in Poland over the next three years;
  • mapping local and international structural engineering consultants, design offices, contractors, subcontractors, bidders, precast manufacturers and other stakeholders involved in these projects;
  • identifying key decision-makers and building strong relationships with designers, structural engineers and technical and commercial representatives;
  • developing long-term relationships with engineering companies, construction companies and the technical departments of contractors;
  • identifying leading precast manufacturers in Poland and developing relationships with their technical and commercial teams;
  • driving specification work with structural engineering consultants, designers and technical departments of contractors;
  • promoting the company’s specialist technical solutions and value-added services through presentations, consultations, specification work and project-based technical support;
  • supporting the company’s existing rebar fabrication and commercial partners and coordinating joint business development activities with their sales teams;
  • organizing regular meetings with partners to align commercial strategy and define short- and medium-term objectives;
  • identifying potential resellers, distributors and other channel partners in Poland;
  • building and maintaining a qualified project and opportunity pipeline;
  • educating and training partners on the company’s technical solutions, including product demonstrations and training sessions conducted at partners’ facilities;
  • identifying and participating in relevant industry events, exhibitions, conferences and professional associations;
  • gathering market intelligence and providing insights into competitors, planned investments, industry trends and customer needs;
  • participating in key project follow-ups and specification initiatives together with consultants and other project stakeholders;
  • coordinating closely with regional sales management, technical specialists, logistics and back-office teams;
  • preparing monthly market activity reports, project updates, customer feedback summaries, sales forecasts and recommendations for further market development;
  • coordinating with commercial partners and internal teams regarding expected project demand, capacity and inventory requirements.

Who we are looking for

This opportunity is suited to an experienced business development or technical sales professional who understands how decisions are made in complex construction projects and knows how to develop a market through technical credibility, strong relationships and persistence.

We would particularly like to meet candidates who have:

  • at least 5 years of experience in business development or technical B2B sales within the construction, infrastructure, precast, reinforcement or a related industrial sector;
  • a successful track record of developing new markets, customer groups or technical product categories;
  • experience working with engineering consultants, design offices, contractors, technical departments or precast manufacturers;
  • experience identifying strategic projects and engaging stakeholders at an early stage of the investment process;
  • an understanding of long and complex project sales cycles;
  • the ability to influence technical specifications and engage both technical and commercial decision-makers;
  • a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or another related technical field, which would be highly advantageous;
  • alternatively, a degree in Business Administration combined with strong technical industry experience;
  • excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills;
  • a strategic mindset combined with a proactive, hands-on approach;
  • native-level Polish and very good English;
  • willingness to travel regularly across Poland;
  • a valid driving licence
  • You are comfortable working as an individual contributor and taking full ownership of a market, while coordinating effectively with international and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with precast manufacturing, rebar detailing, reinforcement systems or project-based specification sales will be a strong advantage.

What makes this opportunity different?

Real market influence: Your work will directly affect the company’s positioning, partnerships and project pipeline. You will shape how the company develops in Poland rather than inherit a mature sales structure.

High autonomy: You will independently organize your activities and take ownership of the local market.

International support: You will cooperate with experienced regional sales, engineering and operational teams.

Long-term development: As the Polish business grows, the role will evolve from market development towards broader sales and commercial responsibility.

Regional potential: Future responsibilities may include supporting business development activities in other Northern and Central European markets.

The offer

  • annual gross base salary plus a performance-related bonus and sales commission;
  • permanent employment contract or B2B cooperation;
  • home-based working model;
  • necessary working tools;
  • significant independence and direct exposure to regional and European decision-makers;
  • support from international sales, engineering and operational teams;
  • an opportunity to build a strategically important market for an established international organization.

Recruitment process

  • The recruitment process is expected to include:
  • Interview with ENGINAR
  • Interview with the direct Hiring Manager
  • Final face-to-face meeting with senior sales and general management representative
