Overview
In this maternity cover, you will manage multi-entity financial reporting for a global venture capital fund in London. You will coordinate year-end processes, audits, and statutory deadlines across jurisdictions, integrating governance and accuracy across the group. You’ll support tax compliance and liaise with administrators, auditors, and advisers to ensure timely, high-quality reporting.
You will help improve end-to-end reporting workflows and strengthen internal controls. This role offers exposure to high-impact private markets finance within a global platform.

- Review year-end financial statements for multiple entities across jurisdictions
- Act as primary contact for administrators; manage audit timetables and information requests
- Support tax compliance including FATCA/CRS, K-1/K-3, and W-form validation
- Coordinate statutory filing deadlines across the group
- Prepare audit files and schedules; ensure documentation is complete and accurate
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Conduct internal control reviews and address process gaps
- Review journal entries, accruals, and provisions for accuracy
- Liaise with fund administrators, auditors, and external advisers on reporting and audit matters
- Contribute to process improvements in year-end and reporting workflows
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CA, CPA, ACCA)
- Post-qualified experience (2-3 years)
- Experience auditing/producing financial accounts for similar firms
- Experience in Venture Capital or private markets in a corporate or group accounting role
- Available from September for 12 months
