\n Technical Lead — Fleet Management & Autonomous Haulage | Brisbane\n

Here’s the puzzle: a real-time platform that’s been running mine sites for decades — trucks, shovels, drills, all coordinated live — now also has to run autonomous trucks, in the same pit as human-driven ones, at sites with high-availability contracts where downtime costs real money.

\n

You can’t take it offline to fix it. You can’t experiment carelessly — these are safety-critical systems with physical consequences. And it’s yours to harden.

\n

This is a hands-on Lead role — you’ll be in the code, in the incident, in the RCA, not just directing traffic from a distance.

What you’d actually be doing:\n

• Personally leading the technical response on customer-blocking defects in a live, decades-old C++/C# codebase — diagnosis, containment, root cause, systemic fix
\n
• Running RCAs and FMEAs to find the weak points before they find you, and teaching that methodology to the wider team
\n
• Building our client’s support systems from reactive to proactive — new tooling, new processes, real data instrumentation to prove it’s working
\n
• Integrating AI into support workflows — genuinely open, high-leverage territory, not a checkbox
\n
• Owning technical decisions under pressure, across a broad stack (C++/C#, moving toward Python and Kubernetes) — depth where it counts, breadth to pick up the rest
