Software Solutions Architect

Overview

As a Software Solutions Architect at NTT DATA, you will shape complex infrastructure software solutions for clients, guiding multi-technology architecture and ensuring licensing compliance. You collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-level designs that map to current and future business needs, while refining internal methodologies and tooling. You’ll explore emerging infrastructure technologies and support license management throughout service transitions.

This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on solution design to drive client success in a hybrid work environment.

• Architect client infrastructure and multi-technology solutions
• Provide specialist licensing and configuration guidance while ensuring compliance
• Design high-level structures and detailed component interconnections
• Analyze client requirements and oversee deployment and operation of infrastructure software
• Improve internal methodologies, processes and tooling
• Research emerging infrastructure technologies and software-defined practices
• Support licensing during service transitions and renewals; perform cost-benefit analyses
• Manage and administer contracts for software/hardware services and features; drive commercial license proposals
• Communicate with stakeholders to guide license management practices and service offerings
• Provide specialist advice on infrastructure software/hardware components and capabilities
• Support projects, facilitate license renewals, and propose improvements to competitive service offers
• Aim for client satisfaction and successful outcomes

• Deep understanding of Cisco Smart accounts and Smart licensing; ability to communicate ideas clearly
• Broad knowledge of hardware, software, and configuration operating models
• Proficiency with licensing models: Perpetual, User, End-User, Subscription, Enterprise Agreements
• Familiarity with supply chain management methodologies and toolsets
• Competence in multi-technology infrastructure software and solution design best practices
• Experience with Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, and Palo Alto licensing models and features
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
• Strategic and tactical thinking to align solutions with service offerings
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field
