ProjectWise Admin

Overview

In this role you will configure and administer Bentley ProjectWise for large infrastructure projects, ensuring workflows and data integrity. You will work under the Digital Engineering Lead to align the CDE with works information and instructed changes. You’ll support the HS2 Rail Systems Tunnel and Lineside M&E scope by maintaining secure, accessible data environments.

You will drive standardisation, training, and reporting to enable reliable information exchange and project delivery.

• Establish and maintain folder structures, workflows, permissions, metadata rules, and automation scripts in ProjectWise
• Manage data interfaces with Employer CDE systems and coordinate information exchanges
• Monitor performance, liaise with IT, and ensure continuous availability and data integrity
• Configure and maintain CAD workspaces for MicroStation, OpenBuildings, and related tools
• Implement Deliverables Manager for transmittals/submittals and prepare for iTwin deployment
• Configure validation processes (e.g., iDAT) to ensure metadata and deliverables meet standards
• Create onboarding materials, user guides, and conduct training sessions/workshops
• Liaise with Bentley Systems and other vendors on issues and upgrades
• Ensure configurations and workflows comply with HS2 and ISO 19650; maintain audit records
• Provide system usage and validation reports to the Digital Engineering Lead

• Proven experience configuring and administering Bentley ProjectWise for large infrastructure projects
• Working knowledge of ISO 19650 processes and data workflows
• Experience managing ProjectWise for both graphical and non-graphical documents
• Ability to configure Bentley Managed Workspaces for MicroStation, OpenBuildings, and related CAD tools
• Strong understanding of metadata, naming conventions, and automation
• Experience creating clear user guidance and delivering end-user training (PowerPoint, workshops)
