Porter

Position Summary:

The Porter supports daily café operations by keeping the bar and dining room areas stocked, clean, and organized. This role ensures that front-of-house staff can focus on preparing drinks and serving guests efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clear and wipe down tables, counters, and service areas.
• Stock and replenish bar supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, café floor, and storage areas.
• Wash, sanitize, and polish glassware and smallwares.
• Assist FOH team members with prep tasks such as cutting fruit, restocking product, and organizing garnishes, and changing kegs.
• Remove trash, recycling, and compost throughout the day.
• Perform daily and weekly cleaning tasks (equipment wipe-downs, floors, drains, etc.).
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health standards.

Qualifications:

• Previous café, bar, or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, detail, and organization.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods.
• Flexible schedule with availability for mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay:

$17.10hr + Tips
