Frontend Developer

Job Description

As a Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for developing responsive and scalable web applications, building robust front-end components, integrating with backend services, and ensuring high-quality user experiences. You will collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions while maintaining best practices in coding, testing, and application performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive user interfaces using React.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design mockups with high fidelity.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Consume and integrate RESTful APIs to support front-end functionality.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate frontend and backend components seamlessly.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and QA engineers.
• Write unit tests and conduct thorough testing to ensure the reliability of applications.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues to deliver high-quality software.

Required Skills and Experience

• 2–4 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong proficiency in React.
• Experience building responsive user interfaces, utilizing state management libraries, and optimizing performance.
• Knowledge of design patterns and best practices for building modular and scalable React applications.
• Familiarity with state management solutions such as Redux or Context API.
• Proficiency in consuming and integrating RESTful APIs with frontend applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including debugging and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Ability to approach challenges with a creative and analytical mindset.
• Demonstrated use of software design patterns to create maintainable and scalable code.
• Knowledge of architectural patterns for building robust and scalable frontend applications.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, including participation in code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of code optimization and web security best practices (e.g., XSS, CSRF) (good to have).
• Strong understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms in web applications (good to have).
• Experience with modern build tools/bundlers (Webpack, Vite) (good to have).
• Familiarity with TypeScript (good to have).
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress (good to have).
