Salary: £58,000 - 98,000 per year
Requirements:
- Experience developing software using Java and/or TypeScript
- Knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL
- Experience with Git, Linux, Docker and DevOps practices
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Interest in healthcare technology and data platforms
Responsibilities:
- Develop secure and scalable backend services
- Build and support cloud-native infrastructure
- Design Lakehouse-based data ingestion and analytics solutions
- Contribute to deployment, quality assurance and continuous delivery processes
- Help drive the ongoing growth, development and deployment of the Minder platform

We are seeking a Software Developer to join the Minder team within the UK DRI Care Research and Technology Centre at Imperial College London. We are building an innovative healthcare platform used in real-world care settings to improve the lives of people affected by dementia. You will work alongside researchers, clinicians, data scientists and designers in a world-leading multidisciplinary research environment.
