Cash Accountant

• Support preparation of working papers for accruals, allocations, journal entries, and account reconciliations across various business units


• Record cash deposits for multiple business lines and regions


• Process wire/EFT and other banking transactions requested by Treasury and other departments


• Maintain bank reconciliation working papers for distribution to other teams


• Perform data entry and enter/issue invoices


• Compile data for financial analysis


• Prepare monthly accounts receivable reporting


• Process and record daily cash receipts into accounting and customer management systems


• Support junior cash accountants by reviewing and posting journal entries and reviewing ledger reconciliations

Requirements

• 3+ years' experience in an accounting related position


• Relevant Accounting Degree


• Strong aptitude with processing high volume of A/R and other banking related transactions


• Experience with bank reconciliations


• ERP experience


• Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams and D365)


• Must be currently authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis
