Mining Automotive Service Technicians - 14/14 - Canada Wide Paid Flights + Camp - $62.50/hr - British Columbia, BC
Big Country Equipment is seeking Automotive Service Technicians for rotational field service roles in British Columbia. Technicians will work on a 14/14 schedule, performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on light-duty vehicles at mine sites. This company offers fly-in/fly-out, camp accommodations, and a strong safety culture.
Ideal candidates are experienced, certified, and committed to working safely in demanding environments.

- $62.50/hr base wage (OT after 8 hours at $93.75/hr)
- 14 days on, 14 days off rotation

What You’ll Need
- Three or more years of recent experience diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing automotive or light-duty vehicles
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. comfortably
- Pass an 8-panel drug test (including marijuana) and alcohol breath test
- Clean 5-year driver’s abstract
- Pass a Criminal Record check
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written)
- Provide two direct supervisor references
- Not seeking subcontractor roles
What Will Make You Stand Out
- Experience maintaining light-duty fleet vehicles in mining, industrial, or construction environments
- Valid provincial trade certification as an Automotive Service Technician
- Red Seal Automotive Service Technician certification
- Experience with Ford, GMC, and Chevy vehicles
