Mining Automotive Service Technicians - 14/14 - Canada Wide Paid Flights + Camp - $62.50/hr - British Columbia, BC

Big Country Equipment is seeking Automotive Service Technicians for rotational field service roles in British Columbia. Technicians will work on a 14/14 schedule, performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on light-duty vehicles at mine sites. This company offers fly-in/fly-out, camp accommodations, and a strong safety culture.

Ideal candidates are experienced, certified, and committed to working safely in demanding environments.

What You’ll Need

  • Three or more years of recent experience diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing automotive or light-duty vehicles
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. comfortably
  • Pass an 8-panel drug test (including marijuana) and alcohol breath test
  • Clean 5-year driver’s abstract
  • Pass a Criminal Record check
  • Proficiency in English (verbal and written)
  • Provide two direct supervisor references
  • Not seeking subcontractor roles

What Will Make You Stand Out

  • Experience maintaining light-duty fleet vehicles in mining, industrial, or construction environments
  • Valid provincial trade certification as an Automotive Service Technician
  • Red Seal Automotive Service Technician certification
  • Experience with Ford, GMC, and Chevy vehicles
