Job Description

DWS are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the review and transformation of Core HCM and Payroll processes within an SAP environment, on client site.

Type: Max term

Length: 12 Months

Start: ASAP

Location: Melbourne

Salary: Up to $210K pkg (including super) or $1000pd ACN Contractor

In this role, you will document current-state processes, identify opportunities to simplify and align with standard SAP functionality, and design future-state processes using BPMN standards and Signavio. You will work closely with stakeholders to support a potential transition from SAP ECC6 to S/4HANA, helping ensure legacy customisations are challenged and only value-adding processes are retained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document current-state Core HCM and Payroll processes
  • Analyse and identify opportunities to simplify processes using standard SAP capabilities
  • Develop future-state process models using BPMN and Signavio
  • Produce key business analysis artefacts, including requirements documentation, use cases, and process maps
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to support process transformation initiatives
Skills & Experience
  • Strong experience in business process modelling using BPMN & Signavio
  • Hands-on experience with Signavio
  • Experience with Core HCM and Payroll processes
  • SAP experience, ideally across ECC6 and/or S/4HANA environments
  • Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering and documentation
  • Experience supporting process improvement simplification, or transformation programs
Highly Desirable
  • Exposure to SAP migration or transformation projects (ECC6 to S/4HANA)
  • Understanding of on-premises to cloud transformation initiatives
