Company Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end journals, reconciliations and financial reports, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Analyse financial results, trends and key performance indicators, providing meaningful insights to support business decisions.
• Partner with the Financial Controller on budgeting, forecasting, business analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage the accounts receivable function, including customer collections and payment arrangements.
• Prepare monthly BAS and GST returns.
• Coordinate foreign exchange contracts for international supplier payments.
• Support ad hoc projects and financial analysis across the business.

About You

You are a proactive and commercially minded accountant who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and building relationships across the business.

You'll also bring:

• CA or CPA qualification, or be actively studying towards completion.
• Previous experience in a Financial Accountant or Assistant Accountant position.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate financial information into meaningful business insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using Dynamics 365 will be highly regarded.
