Role Overview

We are looking for 3 strong SAP ABAP Consultants with 5–6 years of hands-on development experience for an urgent onsite customer engagement in Ahmedabad.

The consultant should have strong expertise in ABAP development, SAP integrations/interfaces, debugging, and technical solutioning. Since this is a customer-facing assignment, excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills are mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, test, and support SAP solutions using ABAP.
• Develop reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
• Develop high-quality, reusable, and performance-optimized ABAP code.
• Handle SAP and non-SAP integration/interface development.
• Work on BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, APIs, Web Services, and other integration mechanisms.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to convert functional specifications into technical solutions.
• Prepare technical specifications, unit-test documents, and technical documentation.
• Perform debugging, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning.
• Support SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live activities.
• Participate in customer discussions, requirement clarification, technical solutioning, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate effectively with onsite/offshore teams and customer stakeholders.

• Technical specification and documentation

Strong integration/interface coding experience is particularly important.

Good to Have – SAP Fiori

Candidates with exposure to the following will be preferred:

• SAP Gateway / OData
• OData service development and troubleshooting
• CDS Views
• SAP Fiori
• SAPUI5
• Fiori application troubleshooting and enhancements
• Integration of Fiori applications with SAP backend services

Deep Fiori expertise is not mandatory; hands-on OData or Fiori exposure is an added advantage.

Deployment Details

The selected consultants will be required to work onsite in Ahmedabad for an initial period of 6 months, with the possibility of extension based on project requirements and performance.

Candidates must be willing to relocate/travel to Ahmedabad and work from the customer/project location for the assignment.

Ideal Candidate

• 5–6 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience
• Strong ABAP coding capability
• Strong SAP integration/interface experience
• Experience with BAPI, RFC, IDoc, API, and Web Services
• Strong debugging and analytical skills
• Customer-facing experience preferred
• Good communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Willingness to work onsite in Ahmedabad
• Comfortable undergoing a technical/coding assessment and customer interview
