As the business continues to grow, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Planner to join a high-performing team and develop their career within a major residential construction environment.

You'll support the planning function across multiple developments, gaining exposure to project programming, project controls, reporting and the wider delivery process.

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting master programmes across Cairn projects and Gateway processes.
  • Maintaining and reviewing detailed construction programmes.
  • Providing accurate and timely programme data and progress updates.
  • Supporting the development of phasing plans and handover strategies.
  • Implementing project controls procedures.
  • Supporting programme progress reporting and dashboards.
  • Assisting with programming requirements from concept through to project completion.
  • Liaising with internal teams including Design and PMO.
  • Working collaboratively within wider project teams.

What you will need

  • Level 8 degree in Engineering, Construction or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant construction experience, ideally within residential construction.
  • Experience using programming/scheduling software would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good attention to detail and a methodical approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet demanding deadlines.
  • Strong decision-making and influencing skills.
  • Full driving licence and access to your own transport.
  • Willingness to travel between project locations.
