Position Summary\n

The Customer focused Compliance Specialist is a mid-level Trade Compliance professional responsible for leading complex compliance activities and supporting customer-focused trade compliance activities across assigned operations. Working arrangement: Hybrid Available locations: Dublin / Bray / Waterford

Key Responsibilities\n

\n
• Lead advanced trade compliance reviews across assigned operations.
\n
• Manage Export Licenses, determination, application, maintenance and reporting.
\n
• Assess compliance risks associated with imports, exports, and customs activities.
\n
• Provide guidance regarding trade regulations and customs requirements.
\n
• Support development and implementation of compliance procedures and controls.
\n
• Coordinate responses to audits and regulatory inquiries.
\n
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Finance, Legal, and Commercial teams.
\n
• Identify compliance risks and continuous improvement opportunities.
\n
• Support strategic compliance initiatives and continuous improvement across assigned operations.
\n

Education Requirements\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
\n
• Professional training or certification in EU customs law, export controls, and international trade compliance preferred.
\n
• Regional and global education equivalencies accepted.
\n
• Experience as an internal auditor is beneficial.
\n

Experience Requirements\n

\n
• 4–9+ years of experience in Trade Compliance, Customs Compliance, Logistics, or International Trade.
\n
• Experience in handling regulatory audits and managing export licenses is highly desirable.
\n
• Demonstrated experience supporting global compliance programs and stakeholder engagement.
\n
• Full knowledge on supply chain full process from end to end is a plus.
\n

• In depth knowledge of customs and trade compliance activities in international environments.

• In-depth knowledge of EU export control regulations, export licensing, sanctions, and dual-use controls.
\n
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
\n
• Strong influencing skills with a proactive, risk-based approach.
\n
