About The Fleet

\n

The Fleet Hotel is a wonderful boutique style Hotel located in the centre of Dublin on the edge of Temple Bar. It comprises of some beautiful period buildings including the iconic Bewleys Café, much loved by Dubliner’s for decades. The Fleet Hotel is synonymous with local Dublin history, before becoming the Fleet Hotel, 19/20 Fleet Street was home to Bewley’s Café which was established by Ernest Bewley in 1905.

Bewleys were known to be one of the finest Tea Houses in Europe and a favourite with Dubliner’s for generations.

Role and Responsibilities:

• \n

  Lead Financial Operations: Oversee all finance functions and deliver timely, accurate management reports.

\n
• \n

  Ensure Compliance: Monitor internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements across the business.

\n
• \n

  Produce Management Accounts: Prepare monthly accounts with variance analysis, budgets, and rolling forecasts.

\n
• \n

  Manage Cash & Assets: Control cash flow, reconcile balance sheets, maintain fixed asset register, and track capital expenditure.

\n
• \n

  Team & Department Oversight: Supervise accounts team handling cash, bank, debtors, creditors, and payroll.

\n
• \n

  Performance Reporting: Provide weekly updates on financial performance, forecasts, and payroll costs.

\n
• \n

  Tax Liaison: Ensure tax submissions, and statutory filings with Revenue and CRO.

\n
• \n

  Banking & Insurance: Ensure banking compliance, quarterly reporting, and maintain licenses and insurance policies.

About the role\n

Candidate Requirements:

\n

\n
• \n

  Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent)

\n
• \n

  4+ years post-qualification experience

\n
• \n

  Good excel skills, computer literate with multiple systems experience – Sage, Hotsoff, Procure Wizard and Timepoint

\n
• \n

  Previous experience in hospitality is an advantage

\n
• \n

  Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills

\n
