Insight Global is seeking a Manager, Accounting & Reporting Advisory to join a leading professional services organization in Calgary, AB. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity operating in a hybrid work model, with an expectation to be in the office four days per week. This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA-designated accounting professional who thrives in a client-facing consulting environment and enjoys solving complex technical accounting challenges.
The successful candidate will partner directly with CFOs, Controllers, and Finance leaders on high-impact engagements involving technical accounting advisory, financial reporting, IPO readiness, M&A transactions, regulatory filings, accounting research, and complex accounting assessments. This individual will play a key role in helping clients navigate critical business events while providing strategic guidance on accounting, reporting, and finance transformation initiatives.

Skills and Requirements
- CPA designation (or equivalent international accounting designation)
- 5-10+ years of accounting experience
- Strong technical accounting expertise, including IFRS and/or U.S. GAAP
- Experience preparing accounting position papers and technical accounting memos
- Client-facing experience with strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience leading projects and mentoring junior team members
- Ability to thrive in an unstructured, project-based consulting environment
- Public accounting or Big 4 experience
- Experience within a technical accounting or accounting research group
- Exposure to IPO readiness, M&A accounting, due diligence, or regulatory reporting
- Knowledge of internal controls, SOX, or compliance frameworks
Previous accounting advisory or consulting experience
