The Customer Service & Data Entry Team Member plays a critical role in supporting our truss & frame customers through the quote and order process. As part of a small team, you will accurately enter and process customer quotes, respond to enquiries, and deliver exceptional customer service via phone and email.

You will prepare and process quotes accurately and within required timeframes, reviewing job documentation and supporting information before to confirm everything is complete and correct. Where information is missing or incomplete, you will identify the gap and follow up so quoting isn't held up, and you will enter and maintain accurate customer and job information within our internal systems throughout.

This is a detail-focused, fast-paced role for someone who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys solving problems for customers, and gets satisfaction from getting the details right first time.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

  • Accurately entering customer quotes and orders into our systems
  • Processing customer quotes efficiently, ensuring all details are correctly recorded
  • Responding to enquiries and requests in a timely, professional manner
  • Communicating with internal teams to confirm quote and order details
  • Maintaining accurate customer and quote and order records, including data checks and corrections
  • Ensuring compliance with Dahlsens policies and procedures across all order and administration activities
  • Providing exceptional customer service across phone, and email
  • Contributing to process improvements that enhance our quote and order management and data entry processes
  • Living the 'Our Circle of Care' principles – See, Say, Listen, Stop – and looking out for the safety of yourself, your team, our customers and the community

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • 2+ years' experience in customer service, quote & order processing, data entry or administration role (preferred)
  • Confident using computer systems, databases and Microsoft Office
  • Fast, accurate keyboard and data entry skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy across all record keeping and quote preparation and order processing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, in person, on the phone and by email
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve customer issues quickly
  • Confident working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • A team player who is customer-focused, highly organised and takes initiative every day
