Kancheepuram-India
To perform assembly operations efficiently and accurately by following standard operating procedures, ensuring product quality, safety compliance, and achievement of daily production targets.
You will report to Production Supervisor / Assembly Manager and follow a onsite working schedule in India Kancheepuram.
Your responsibilities:
Assembly Operations
Perform assembly of components, sub‑assemblies, and finished goods following approved work instructions, drawings, and SOPsOperate assembly tools, jigs, fixtures, and production equipment safelyFollow defined process flow, cycle time, and takt time requirementsQuality Assurance
Ensure assembled products meet specified quality standards and customer requirementsPerform self‑inspection and in‑process quality checksIdentify, record, and report defects, deviations, or abnormalities in the processSupport corrective and preventive actions to reduce defects and reworkProduction & Documentation
Achieve assigned daily production targets with optimum efficiencyMaintain accurate production records, traceability documents, and check sheetsSupport line balancing and productivity improvement activitiesSafety & 5S
Follow all EHS rules, safety procedures, and PPE requirementsMaintain workplace cleanliness and organisation according to 5S standardsReport unsafe conditions, near misses, or incidents immediatelyContinuous Improvement
Participate in Lean, Kaizen, TPM, and cost‑reduction initiativesSupport root cause analysis and improvement implementationProvide improvement suggestions to enhance productivity, quality, and safetyThe essentials -You will have
2–5 years: Assembly Technician / Assembly OperatorITI / DiplomaKnowledge of assembly processes, tools, and equipmentRead and understand engineering drawings and work instructionsBasic knowledge of quality concepts and inspection techniquesCapability to handle tools and manual assembly tasksWillingness to work in shifts following production requirementsAbility to stand for extended periodsThe Preferred-You Might also have:
