Senior Cloud & Security Engineer

Location: Dublin
Hybrid: 3 days onsite
Contract Type: Daily Rate Contract

We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Cloud & Security Engineer to join a large organisation on a daily rate contract. This role will focus on cloud security, identity management, endpoint security, and operational cyber defence within a Microsoft technology environment.

Key Responsibilities\n

\n
• Manage and secure Microsoft cloud environments, including identity and access management.
\n
• Support enterprise endpoint management and security platforms.
\n
• Configure and maintain Microsoft security technologies across cloud and end-user environments.
\n
• Monitor, investigate and respond to security incidents and alerts.
\n
• Implement security controls and best practices across cloud infrastructure.
\n
• Support Zero Trust and modern cybersecurity initiatives.
\n
• Provide senior-level troubleshooting and technical support.
\n
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
\n

Required Experience\n

\n
• Significant experience in cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity and Microsoft technologies.
\n
• Strong knowledge of Azure, identity management, endpoint management and security operations.
\n
• Experience responding to security incidents and implementing security best practices.
\n
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
\n
• Experience working within structured IT service management environments.
\n

Certifications\n

\n
• Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500) or equivalent certification required.
\n
