Child Health Nurse | Agency Contract | Coastal Location!

Curis Recruitment is proud to partner with a fantastic Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service to find a Child Health Nurse to join their team on an agency contract.

Job Details:

• Start 21 September 2026
• 6-8 week contract
• Return domestic travel provided
• Fully furnished accommodation provided
• $75/hr + Super

As the Child Health Nurse, you will play an integral role in delivering the Child Health Program, working collaboratively with children aged 0–15 years and their families. You will support children with complex and chronic healthcare needs through assessment, care coordination and ongoing clinical support, helping to optimise health outcomes.

The Organisation:
You will be working for a well-established Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service providing culturally appropriate, holistic primary healthcare to Aboriginal communities and families.
The service is committed to improving health outcomes and reducing health inequalities through accessible, community-led healthcare.

Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you will have the opportunity to contribute to child and family health while developing strong relationships with the local community.

To be eligible for this position you must:

• Fully registered with AHPRA with no restrictions
• Demonstrated understanding of primary health care and developing clinical knowledge of chronic disease management and/or child health
• Demonstrated well developed written, verbal and interpersonal skills including ability to communicate sensitively in a cross-cultural environment with Aboriginal clients and staff
• Postgraduate in Child Health
• Hold a NSW Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain
• Have a National Police Check completed within the last 12 months
• Must have full Australian working rights (i.e. Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, a valid Working Visa, or New Zealand Citizenship)
