DEAN OF THE FACULTY OF CIVIL AND TRANSPORT ENGINEERING

OF THE POZNAN UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY

announces recruitment

for the position of a RESEARCH AND TEACHING ASSISTANT (F/M) – full time

in the field of engineering and technical sciences

in the discipline of: civil engineering, geodesy and transport

at the Institute of Building Engineering,

Division of Building Engineering and Materials (No.1)

under an employment contract for a period of 1 year

Basic employment conditions for the candidates include:

  • a master\'s degree or higher,
  • good University performance (grades, extracurricular scientific activity, other extracurricular activities, publications, participation in scientific conferences),
  • teaching predisposition to perform as a lecturer,
  • fluent knowledge of the Polish language in speech and writing.

Special requirements include:

  • Completed Master\'s degree in Civil Engineering.

Additional Information:

  • The decision to appoint a candidate to the Assistant position will be made based on the results of an interview.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research in civil engineering, geodesy and transport, following the objectives of the Institute of Building Engineering.
  • Prepare and deliver lectures and practical lessons for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
  • Assist in the supervision of student projects and theses.
  • Participate in academic committees and contribute to the development of course materials.
  • Maintain an active publication record and present findings at conferences.

  • a statement outlining the field and discipline in which the candidate will conduct scientific activity (appendix 7 to the PUT employment policy)
  • a declaration of consent to be included as an employee conducting research activity/research fellow (appendix 8 to the PUT employment policy)
  • statement on the percentage of work time dedicated to scientific and research activity in the discipline/disciplines assigned (appendix 9 to the PUT employment policy)

Deadline for submitting applications: 21.08.2026

The final decision date – no longer than 4 months from the recruitment closing date.

In the event that none of the candidates receives a positive evaluation from the selection board or in the absence of candidates, the Dean will annul the recruitment. The side announcing the job position may cancel or close the recruitment process without giving any reason. The salary and compensation policy will be presented before the interview.
