Location and Position

Location: Vancouver & Lower Mainland, BC
Position Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $30–$55 per hour (based on experience)

About the Role

Elite Airtight Envelopes is seeking skilled Exterior Membrane and Insulation Installers to join our growing team. You’ll be part of a crew specializing in high-performance building envelopes—installing air and water control layers, insulation systems, and exterior membranes on custom homes and luxury residences across the Lower Mainland.

We’re looking for professionals who take pride in their work, understand the importance of precision, and can manage their own sites with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and apply exterior membrane systems, including water-resistive and air barriers, in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer guidelines.
• Collaborate with builders and other trades to ensure seamless integration of control layers.
• Inspect and prepare surfaces for membrane and insulation installation.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and quality control.
• Ensure all work complies with applicable building codes and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in exterior membrane or insulation installation, ideally in high-end residential construction.
• Strong understanding of air/water barrier systems and envelope detailing.
• Own vehicle and basic tools required.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
