Senior Underwriter & Team Manager (Commercial Combined Property Owners)
Competitive Salary + Car allowance

Primarily remote with occasional visits to our Halifax and Manchester offices as needed

The Team -

Our Commercial Underwriting team works closely with regional brokers and internal stakeholders to deliver profitable growth across our Commercial Combined portfolio. The team focuses on building strong trading relationships, delivering technical underwriting expertise and providing excellent service to brokers and customers alike.

What you can expect in this role

  • Youll play a key role in underwriting complex Commercial Combined risks within appetite and authority.

  • Youll work closely with your team, helping to lead, coach and develop their underwriting skills

  • Youll contribute to building and managing broker relationships across the region, focusing on quality, collaboration and continuous improvement

  • Youll be acting as a technical referral point and supporting portfolio performance

What you might bring

  • Experience in Commercial Combined, Property & Casualty or Mid-Market underwriting

  • Skills in leading, coaching and developing colleagues

  • Proven broker relationship and trading experience.

  • A collaborative approach and the confidence to share ideas

  • An organised, thoughtful way of working

  • A commitment to delivering great outcomes for customers and colleagues
