About the company and role

This client is seeking a qualified accountant to join their Finance team. As the business continues to expand, they're building out their Finance function and are looking for a Financial Planning Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysis across the Group.

About the Job

• Support the Group's financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, rolling forecasts, and longer-term business planning
• Develop and maintain financial models that underpin business decision-making
• Work with large, complex datasets to produce accurate, insightful management reporting
• Investigate variances, identify trends, and flag potential risks or issues to the wider Finance team
• Build strong working relationships across Finance and the broader business, communicating financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
• Contribute to process improvements and support the implementation of new systems and ways of working

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
• Advanced Excel
• Excellent attention to detail
