Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Current RN license (required)
• Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential highly preferred
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is beneficial
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to respond quickly and thoughtfully in urgent or emergency situations
• Commitment to promoting a healthy, safe school environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate care to students, including routine health screenings, assessment, and management of chronic conditions
• Administer medications and first aid as needed
• Develop and implement Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) for students with specific medical needs
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to support student well-being and academic achievement
• Serve as a trusted resource and advocate for student health education and community outreach
• Maintain accurate, confidential health records in accordance with regulations and district policies
