Senior Accountant and Team Lead

We are looking for a Senior Accountant / Team Lead to manage a team of accountants and own financial reporting for our client portfolio across industries. If you're strong on MIS reporting, comfortable leading a team, and enjoy being a client's go-to person on financial matters, we'd love to talk.

What you'll own:

MIS & Financial Reporting

• Prepare and finalize MIS reports (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) for clients across industries
• Drive month-end/year-end closing, reconciliations, and performance analysis
• Review variance analysis, cash flow forecasts, and key financial metrics for clients

🤝 Client Management

• Be the primary point of contact for clients on financial matters
• Provide strategic financial insights to help clients optimize performance
• Partner with client teams to tailor accounting services to their needs

Team Leadership

• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accountants and analysts
• Allocate resources across multiple clients and deadlines
• Run performance reviews and build a collaborative team culture

⚙️ Systems & Process

• Oversee financial software implementation (Tally, Zoho, etc.)
• Identify process improvements to boost accuracy and efficiency

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's in Accounting; CA-Inter qualified or higher
• 2–4 years in accounting/financial management
• Strong grasp of accounting, direct & indirect tax, and compliance
• Hands-on with financial software (Tally, Zoho, or similar)
• Strong leadership, communication, and multi-client management skills

Location: Chennai (On-site)

• Compensation: Negotiable based on experience
