Broadmeadows | Ongoing Temp to Perm | 38 Hours | Early Finish Friday

Are you a hands‐on Maintenance Fitter who enjoys fixing, improving and building things?

We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician / Fitter to join our client at their Broadmeadows facility.

This is a varied, hands‐on role coveringmechanical maintenance, stainless steel TIG welding, fabrication, equipment repairs and site improvements.

What you'll be doing

• Preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance.
• Stainless steel TIG welding and fabrication.
• Maintenance and refurbishment of tanks, fillers and processing equipment.
• Maintenance of labelling machines and bulk fill equipment.
• Fabrication and installation of gates and site infrastructure.
• Equipment removal, modifications and site improvements.
• Maintaining site maintenance and testing registers.

What we're looking for

• Qualified Maintenance Fitter / Mechanical Fitter or similar.
• Strong TIG welding skills – stainless steel.
• Solid mechanical and fabrication experience.
• Chemical / Dangerous Goods experience is essential.
• A practical, proactive approach to problem solving.
• Someone who enjoys working autonomously and taking ownership of their work.

What's on offer?

• 38 hours per week
• Monday–Thursday: 7:30am–4:00pm
• Friday: 7:30am–1:30pm – early finish!
• Ongoing temporary position with a view to permanent
