Cyient is seeking a motivated and experienced Data Analytics Engineer / Analyst to support an exciting aerospace manufacturing improvement initiative. In this role, you will develop and maintain data solutions, dashboards, and analytical models that enable data-driven decision-making and operational improvement. Key Responsibilities* Collaborate with program leads, data analysts, engineers, supply chain, quality, and operations teams to deliver data-driven solutions.* Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets using Python, SQL, and related technologies.* Analyze historical performance and demand trends to identify bottlenecks, delivery risks, and critical part numbers.* Develop data models and KPI dashboards to monitor metrics such as yield, supplier lead times, production performance, and on-time delivery.* Provide actionable insights to Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations teams to support continuous improvement.* Support the prioritization of critical components and identification of producibility/process improvement opportunities.* Use SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, R, and Excel to analyze, visualize, and communicate business insights.* Support monitoring of corrective actions and their impact on operational and delivery performance.* Participate in Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) initiatives.* Perform data validation and ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency.* Support databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.* Develop and maintain ETL/data transformation processes.* Assist with data documentation, governance, and technical support.* Collaborate with senior team members to implement scalable analytics and data solutions.
Required Qualifications* Eligible to work in Canada and available to work onsite.* 2?5 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field.* Aerospace, manufacturing, automotive, defense, or industrial experience is preferred.* Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Statistics, or a related discipline.* Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.* Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.* Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Power BI, and Excel.* Experience with at least one of R or Tableau.* Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or equivalent.* Exposure to Apache Spark and/or Databricks.* Knowledge of at least one cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.* Understanding of ETL, data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance.* Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications* Experience in aerospace or manufacturing analytics.* Experience with Supply Chain, Quality, Production, or Operations data.* Knowledge of manufacturing KPIs, supplier performance, production yield, lead time, and on-time delivery.* Exposure to RCCA, Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, Quality Notifications (QNs), or continuous improvement.* Experience with producibility analysis or technical feasibility assessments.* Experience with Jira, Confluence, GitHub, or similar tools.* Exposure to Agile methodology.* Experience with MS Project or project coordination.* Ability to transform complex datasets into clear business insights and recommendations.* Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
Pay: $75,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
