Head of Department - Speech Pathologist (Lvl 5) - Temp FT

The successful applicant will be an experienced and collaborative Speech Pathologist with demonstrated leadership capability, advanced clinical expertise in adult services and a passion for mentoring staff and shaping service development within a dynamic healthcare environment. You Will Bring:

Discipline specific tertiary qualifications as accepted by professional association.

Advanced skills working with adults with communication and swallowing impairments in the acute setting including instrumental assessments and tracheostomy management.

Demonstrated experience leading staff and team performance

Demonstrated knowledge and skills in service management functions

Demonstrated leadership in the planning, implementation and evaluation of local service delivery incorporating the quality improvement process

Demonstrated high level communication skills (oral and written) including advocacy and negotiation skills.
