Pearson Carter are currently working with a well-established organisation that is looking to strengthen its IT team with an experienced Onsite Support Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional with strong Windows desktop support experience to join a collaborative team and provide hands‑on technical support to the wider user community.
You'll act as a key point of contact for IT support requests, troubleshooting issues, preparing hardware, supporting applications and helping to roll out new technologies. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to IT projects and develop your technical skills within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities
- Manage and triage IT tickets, resolving or escalating issues as required.
- Provide hands‑on support for Windows desktops, hardware, accounts and applications.
- Prepare and deploy IT hardware and roll out new software.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate IT team.
- Assist with IT projects and implementation of new technologies.
- Follow all IT governance policies and SOPs.
- Provide excellent support and communication to the user community.
- Work collaboratively with the wider IT team and contribute to special projects.
Experience
- 2 years' experience in an IT service delivery/support environment.
- Good troubleshooting skills across hardware, software and applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong team player with a collaborative approach.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and concepts.
This is a contract role so you will be paid based on a daily pay rate of €100 a day.
Location
This role is based on site in Dublin, Ireland.
