Suffolk is building the next generation of Digital Delivery capabilities to transform how buildings are designed, coordinated, and constructed. As part of this vision, Suffolk Global is establishing a high-performing Digital Delivery team in Bangalore that will partner directly with project teams across the United States. Together, we will develop scalable modeling standards, improve coordination workflows, enhance quality through digital reviews, and create innovative solutions that support some of the most complex construction projects in North America.

This is an opportunity to help build a new capability from the ground up. Team members will play a critical role in defining best practices, developing digital standards, creating high-quality BIM content, and advancing model-based delivery across the enterprise.

Role Summary:

The Digital Delivery Engineer II is responsible for advanced BIM modeling, content development, constructability analysis, quality control, and coordination support across one or more projects. This role serves as a technical contributor within the Digital Delivery organization, producing high-quality models and deliverables while helping identify and resolve design, coordination, and constructability challenges.

The Digital Delivery Engineer II applies expert-level Revit skills to develop complex project models, create parametric content, perform detailed model reviews, and support multidisciplinary coordination workflows. This role is expected to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating closely with project teams and senior digital delivery staff.

The Digital Delivery Engineer II must be able to interpret architectural and structural design drawings, specifications, and details, and develop coordinated LOD 300/350 models, shop drawings, and construction layouts. The role is also responsible for coordinating with MEP and other disciplines to ensure model integration and constructible deliverables, while providing technical guidance and quality oversight to Digital Delivery Engineer I team members.

Key Responsibilities:

BIM Modeling & Project Delivery:

  • Develop, maintain, and manage detailed Revit models from design drawings, sketches, markups, and project documentation.
  • Produce accurate model-based deliverables including plans, sections, elevations, schedules, quantities, and construction support documentation.
  • Support project teams through all phases of design and construction by maintaining high-quality BIM deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with project BIM execution requirements and Suffolk Digital Delivery standards.

Content Development & Standards:

  • Create, modify, and maintain advanced parametric Revit families and custom content.
  • Support development and maintenance of Suffolk's BIM content libraries.
  • Assist in creation and refinement of Revit templates, standards, and modeling workflows.
  • Promote consistency and adherence to established modeling standards across projects.

Constructability Review & Quality Assurance:

  • Perform model-based constructability reviews to identify design constraints, incomplete information, coordination concerns, and potential construction risks.
  • Identify, document, and track design issues, modeling inconsistencies, and quality concerns.
  • Execute detailed QA/QC reviews of BIM deliverables and project models.
  • Support issue resolution workflows and validate corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of findings, recommendations, and project updates.

Coordination & Clash Detection:

  • Support multidisciplinary model coordination activities involving architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
  • Perform clash detection and model analysis using approved coordination platforms.
  • Generate coordination reports, issue logs, and model review documentation.
  • Assist project teams with tracking, communication, and resolution of coordination issues.
  • Participate in coordination meetings and provide technical support for model-related discussions.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, standards, and modeling efficiency.
  • Support implementation of new technologies, tools, and digital delivery processes.
  • Share technical knowledge and best practices with team members.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of Digital Delivery capabilities within Suffolk Global.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.

Experience:

  • 46 years of experience in BIM, Digital Delivery, VDC, architecture, engineering, or construction technology roles.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting BIM coordination and model-based project delivery.

Technical Skills:

  • Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
  • Advanced experience creating and managing parametric Revit families.
  • Strong understanding of BIM workflows, model management, and digital project delivery.
  • Experience performing model quality reviews and constructability analysis.
  • Experience supporting clash detection and model coordination workflows.
  • Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP building systems.
  • Experience producing detailed BIM deliverables and technical documentation.

  • Experience working with point cloud data and Scan-to-BIM workflows.
  • Experience supporting large, complex building projects.
  • Exposure to reality capture technologies and digital construction workflows.

A successful Digital Delivery Engineer II will:

  • Deliver accurate, high-quality BIM models and project deliverables with minimal oversight.
  • Consistently identify constructability concerns, coordination conflicts, and model quality issues before they impact project execution.
  • Develop and maintain reusable BIM content that improves project efficiency and consistency.
  • Contribute to improved project coordination outcomes through proactive issue identification and tracking.
  • Demonstrate strong technical expertise in Revit and digital delivery workflows.
  • Support continuous improvement of standards, templates, and digital delivery processes.
