Business Development Manager

Location: Manchester (Hybrid)
Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 DOE + Car Allowance

We're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth by securing new commercial M&E maintenance, Facilities Management and Building Solutions contracts.

The Role

• Develop and win new business opportunities.
• Build relationships with managing agents, property owners and commercial clients.
• Attend client meetings, networking events and site surveys.
• Support tenders, proposals and pricing strategies.
• Work closely with operational teams to deliver successful solutions.

About You

• Minimum 5 years' business development experience within M&E Maintenance, Facilities Management or Building Solutions.
• Proven success securing contracts worth £100k–£2m per annum.
• Strong network within the commercial property sector.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of M&E maintenance services.
• Full UK driving licence.

Desirable:

• Engineering background or qualification.
• Experience with Maximo or similar systems.
• Public Sector/OJEU tender experience.
• Existing network across the North West and Midlands.
